We felt we must write a review as thanks to Chris and his father Frank (and brother) after they recently completed a much needed renovation to our pergola in the back yard. We asked for a replacement deck, some new bench seats with the seats as lids for storage and some roofing done to the pergola. After having had some other tradesmen in to spec out the job and waiting days for quotes, Chris and Frank came in and quoted on the spot which was greatly welcomed. The quote was reasonable and after promising to complete the job in one go and within a week, we signed up straight away. Chris and Frank were very professional and friendly and welcomed suggestions and questions and nothing was too difficult or awkward for them. They understood exactly what we wanted and we left them to do their magic. As carpenters, they also gave us invaluable information about how to prepare the new wood ready for final oiling experience and knowledge no-one else had shared with us to date. Needless to say, they delivered us a beautiful merbau deck with bench seats and lids (with plenty of storage space within) exactly as we had envisaged - and fixed the roof. We are now enjoying relaxing on our new bench seats on our new deck and would highly recommend Chris and Frank to anyone looking for a professional job to be undertaken by a professional, trustworthy and friendly, family-run business.

Sydney Best Carpentry did a major renovation of our bathroom/laundry and sun room. They also replaced flooring and numerous doors and windows throughout our home. We found Chris and Fevsi to be approachable and honest tradesmen. We are pleased with the final result and in particular given the tight schedule we gave them over the holiday period, the ease with which Chris adjusted to these circumstances and schedule.

Chris and Fevsi just completed an extension of our home involving the conversion of a covered verandah and the creation of a new deck in our garden. The three-week project involved carpentry, plumbing, and painting, all of which were completed to the highest standard. As some of the other reviewers have mentioned, Sydney Best Carpentry were true to both the projected timeline and budget for the job. Chris interpreted and executed our ideas perfectly and was very helpful in offering suggestions relating to small details which we hadn't considered. The team was exceedingly professional and a pleasure to have in our home from day one. On a personal note, we found all of them to be warm and lovely people who I know we will miss having around and sharing a morning coffee with. I have just had Chris undertake a small conversion of two kitchen cupboards into drawers. After being messed around by several other tradespersons what a delight it was to find someone who actually was customer focussed and keen to do the job. I read all these reviews and wondered if it all sounded too good to be true - but it wasn't! He turned up when he said he would, gave me a reasonable price, and completed the job within the week (others had given me a 4-6 week timeline). He came up with his own suggestions, and the finished job is fantastic. Chris is very pleasant to deal with, has an excellent atttitude and work ethic, and did a thoroughly professional job. Chris and his Father Fevsi have just completed our kitchen renovation as well as structural work to a retaining wall underneath our swimming pool, this on the back of the positive recommendations posted on this site, From the start, my wife and I were put at ease by the polite manner in which they listened to our ideas and, where necessary, suggested good alternatives. As part of the kitchen renovation, walls were also removed. They gave a start and finish time, both met without problem. They carried out the work to a very high standard - plumbing, electrics, carpentry, tiling and more. On top of that, they maintained good humour and respect for our home for the whole 5 week duration. Chris and his Father Fevzi are a credit to their trade and a credit to the human race - nothing was ever too much trouble and I have already lined them up for further work in the future. We recently completed our renovation at Baulkham Hills. Its was a complete revamp with new Bathrooms/Kitchen/Wooden flooring/Electrical s. Sydney Best Carpentry did a fabulous job and we are very happy with the results. I was very nervous for such a large scale change in the beginning but once Chris and his father started the job all the worries had disappeared. Few points any customer should know about them and which worked for me... 1) Professional- Highly professional and maintained it throughout the job 2) Flexible - They work with you and open to changes at any stage of the project 3) Timely- They were prompt on their assessment and completion of the entire job 4) Skilled - Not restricted to Bathrooms or Kitchens only. They do the whole 9 yards. 6) Strong work ethic- Work 6 days a week and long hours at times 7) Quality- High standard of quality all along 8) Budget- Stuck to the budget and there were no surprises at all. 9) Value for money- Charges for the quality and timely work was exceptional. There are a lot of stories I could share where one or more of their qualities mentioned above were sparklingly displayed.But all I shall say now is that I am very glad they did my renovation and will not hesitate to recommend them to all. Chris and his team have recently completed a full replacement of our kitchen. They were so helpful and professional. They came up with some great suggestions and ideas that maximised our space and made our unit unique to all the others. They completed the work exactly when they said they would and the end result looks sensational. We are going to get Chris and the boys back to do our bathroom renovations. Its very hard to find honest reliable and affordable tradesmen in Sydney, but these guys you can trust.
