From the very first contact through to the completion of our renovation, they were a pleasure to deal with and have helped bring the vision we had for our home to life! They totally transformed our place including building a new custom-made kitchen, extending the home to include an ensuite and walk in robe, knocking down walls, replacing our old floorboards and renovating our old bathroom. Our renovations (June 2016) included new hardwood decking, balustrade, removing an internal wall, designing and installing a new kitchen and many extras that have been on our wish list for years. We felt we must write a review as thanks to Chris and his father Frank (and brother) after they recently completed a much needed renovation to our pergola in the back yard. We asked for a replacement deck, some new bench seats with the seats as lids for storage and some roofing done to the pergola. After having had some other tradesmen in to spec out the job and waiting days for quotes, Chris and Frank came in and quoted on the spot which was greatly welcomed. The quote was reasonable and after promising to complete the job in one go and within a week, we signed up straight away. Chris and Frank were very professional and friendly and welcomed suggestions and questions and nothing was too difficult or awkward for them. They understood exactly what we wanted and we left them to do their magic. As carpenters, they also gave us invaluable information about how to prepare the new wood ready for final oiling experience and knowledge no-one else had shared with us to date. Needless to say, they delivered us a beautiful merbau deck with bench seats and lids (with plenty of storage space within) exactly as we had envisaged – and fixed the roof. We are now enjoying relaxing on our new bench seats on our new deck and would highly recommend Chris and Frank to anyone looking for a professional job to be undertaken by a professional, trustworthy and friendly, family-run business.

Chris and Fevsi did a fantastic job with my house – complete internal renovation from kitchen, master bedroom with en-suite, guest bathroom, new timber flooring throughout the house and many more. Chris and Fevsi just completed an extension of our home involving the conversion of a covered verandah and the creation of a new deck in our garden. The three-week project involved carpentry, plumbing, and painting, all of which were completed to the highest standard. I have just had Chris undertake a small conversion of two kitchen cupboards into drawers. After being messed around by several other tradespersons what a delight it was to find someone who actually was customer focussed and keen to do the job. I read all these reviews and wondered if it all sounded too good to be true – but it wasn’t! He turned up when he said he would, gave me a reasonable price, and completed the job within the week (others had given me a 4-6 week timeline). Chris and his Father Fevsi have just completed our kitchen renovation as well as structural work to a retaining wall underneath our swimming pool, this on the back of the positive recommendations posted on this site, From the start, my wife and I were put at ease by the polite manner in which they listened to our ideas and, where necessary, suggested good alternatives. As part of the kitchen renovation, walls were also removed. They gave a start and finish time, both met without problem. They carried out the work to a very high standard – plumbing, electrics, carpentry, tiling and more. On top of that, they maintained good humour and respect for our home for the whole 5 week duration. We are very pleased with Chris and Franks professionalism and willingness to ensure the timely and satisfactory completion of our kitchen renovations. The entire process was hassle free from initial consultation to completion. We stretched the renovations over 2 weeks to fit around our work schedule and Chris was flexible with our timing needs, especially considering there were so many people involved, including the plumber, tiler and electrician. There were couple of occasions where our expectations differed to Chris because minor details were missed during planning or undefined (such as specific details for the floor skirting and cost of wall tiles). These hidden assumptions generally would be a source of renovation frustrations. In our case however, through Chris great communication and willingness to see the problem through, we were able to agree to terms on all these minor things. Overall, we are extremely happy with our new kitchen and Chris and Franks professional and reliable service.

We recently completed our renovation at Baulkham Hills. Its was a complete revamp with new Bathrooms/Kitchen/Wooden flooring/Electrical s. Sydney Best Carpentry did a fabulous job and we are very happy with the results. I was very nervous for such a large scale change in the beginning but once Chris and his father started the job all the worries had disappeared. Chris and his team have recently completed a full replacement of our kitchen. They were so helpful and professional. They came up with some great suggestions and ideas that maximised our space and made our unit unique to all the others. They completed the work exactly when they said they would and the end result looks sensational. We are going to get Chris and the boys back to do our bathroom renovations. The guys from Sydney Best Carpentry are great. They demolished and rebuilt our terrace’s old deck and ordered and installed a new balustrade. They did all the work on time, within budget, and even helped us solve some unrelated problems that crept in along the way. This is the second time we have used Chris & Frank to undertake a carpentry job for us. This time we required a large set of stairs and a side deck demolished and completely rebuilt. Chris used blackbutt hardwood for our previous deck and again he suggested that we do the same with this job. Merbau decking timber was to be used with stainless steel wire as a fence for the deck and stairs, all as before. The job was completed quickly and efficiently. The workmanship was very professional again. Chris and his father Frank put in many long hard working hours, working Saturday and once on a Sunday to complete the job on time. We were fully informed about the processes at all times and discussed any problems that were encountered and how to solve them. We needed a large back deck reconstructed. It was 8mx2.5m and was 4m off the ground. Chris said that he wanted to construct a balcony for us that would look good and stand the test of time. He completed the job in good time, without taking any shortcuts. He kept us informed about what he was doing and why he made the choices he did. Sydneys Best Carpentry were very helpful and friendly. From the initial quote coming out on Sunday to see the space. By the end of day one and realising a Strata issue that needed to be fixed with the floor would take longer then expected. They were very understanding and sympathetic to the fact that this issue was out of our control. After the eight workdays it took for the floor to be fixed they were available to return and complete the work. They were also very quick to fix any problems.

We couldn’t be happier with the renovations that were carried out on our house earlier this year. Having never renovated before we were a bit apprehensive but Chris immediately put us at ease. All aspects of the renovation was explained and carried out within the time frame. The cost stayed in budget and any extra work was explained and Chris would go out of his way to show us what was needed. We were very happy with the job the Chris and the team did for us in creating our new renovated house. On budget and on time(I know shock horror and actually 1 week early)! A full house renovation (kitchen, bathroom, living room and extension) and whilst Covid was causing issues else where the team were there every day on time. I have no hesitations in recommending them. They were easy to work with and communication was regular and pretty good. Of course on a big job there are a few areas that we had to negotiate but we found Chris very reasonable and easy to deal with.

I had major renovations carried out on my new home by Chris and the team. They did a splendid job in the time frame they promised.
Despite the craziness of covid and all that went with it: job losses, shutdowns, extreme rise in building materials, the level of workmanship was maintained at all times. As a result of the rise in material costs, the company worked at a loss financially however continued to be professional in every way completing the work to everything I wanted. I would highly recommend their work, skills and integrity.
